The wonders of Dextrose

by Little John on Mar.17, 2011, under Genetics

Dextrose comes from Dextra Glucose, or right handed glucose.

Dextrose is vital to your survival as we digest sugar (sucrose) and fructose to get D-glucose (Dextrose).

Fructose gets turned into D-Glucose in the liver. When your body gets overwhelmed it puts out triglycerides instead.

“There is growing evidence that excess fructose consumption may facilitate insulin resistance, and eventually type 2 diabetes. ”

http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/nutrition/a/fructosedangers.htm

Every cell uses D-glucose as it’s primary source of energy. If you are winded the body uses it’s fat stores.

If you have cancer those cells use any sugar including fructose and put out inordinate amounts of waste.

http://speedendurance.com/2010/09/01/cancer-cells-love-fructose-or-glucose-us-study-finds/

Large quantities of  dextrose is good.

Large quantities of fructose is very bad.

Diabetes and extra weight go hand in hand with high levels of fructose.

On a personal note: I have been subjecting myself to a dextrose study where I use dextrose in place of table sugar. It’s been three weeks and my energy level is way up, I’m up earlier and I feel fantastic.

Quantum Theory

by Little John on Feb.23, 2011, under Hypotheses

Atom – Helium has two protons and two neutrons

Proton – has two Up Quarks and one Down Quark

Neutron – has one Up Quark and two Down Quarks

Up Quark is positively charged (+2/3)

Down Quark is negatively charged (-1/3)

Somehow the proton has a net positive charge (even though it doesn’t as up that way).

What’s to stop an Up Quark from existing with an electron mass from surrounding it? We’ve done enough atom smashing, certainly with the Large Hadron Collider to generate a number of subatomic particle. So an Up Quark would have more charge than a Hydrogen atom (a sole proton) and a third of the mass. The chemistry would be a new field – if any chemistry exists.

China Bans Reincarnation!

by Little John on Feb.23, 2011, under Headlines

Reincarnation Banned!

Reincarnation Banned!

China banned Tibet’s reincarnation ritual last Friday declaring ‘The next Dalai Lama will be one of our choosing.’

The Dalia Lama retorted ‘FINE! I’m leaving!’

China’s retort didn’t translate well, but Mr. Lama’s was worse.

So there will be at least two Lama’s, one Chinese and one Bhuddist. Closed Elections will be held in the Chinese with at least the President, Hu Jintao as a deciding vote. Rumor has it that a primary candidate has already been found. When asked who would be the leader of Tibet the only hint was ‘it would be the highest power in the land’.

Blue Sky or Blue Ocean?

by Little John on Feb.03, 2011, under Headlines

Which reflects and which is truly blue?

We see through the air so air is transparent.

We see through a glass of water so it is transparent.

So what makes either blue? Current folklore says the sky reflects the ocean but the sky doesn’t change color in the Sarahara or deep inland.

Other folklore says the ocean reflects the sky because on cloudy days it is no longer blue. Yet the Arabs would know it was night when they could no longer tell the difference from a light thread and a dark thread.

The ocean clearly is not the color of the ocean floor (largely white and brown).

The sky is not the color or space (black with spec of light).

Eye

1. Both are transparent
2. Both give off a distinctive color  (blue) different that their respective backgrounds

There are two scenario’s that fit.

1. The both contain oxygen (H2O and O2/O3)
2. Both contain water (clouds, evaporation)

We know from the sun and plasma gases from nebula that Hydrogen is (or burns) orange/red

One could then conclude that Oxygen is naturally blue based on the above hypothesis.

DUPLICATE CONSTITUTION FOUND!

by Little John on Oct.21, 2010, under Headlines

Duplicate Constitution

Which one came first?

After Christine O’Donnell’s cryptic remarks on the constitution, historians searched the records and found she was referring to the original, hitherto unknown version of the Constitution the forefathers had previously lost.

This explains the strange remark “Well shoot” that Jefferson made before writing this version, historian Dr. Galakowitz explains.

In this version it simply says “We The People are free and there ain’t nothing you can do about it!”. Grammarian’s world wide winced and government officials are seriously considering using the older version to finally settle thousands of constitutional lawsuits that, now, can be simply throw out and the perpetrator thrown in jail.

Parkour post

by Little John on Oct.01, 2010, under Journal

It’s been 6 months of working out and I just found out about parkour.

Last Sunday was the first attempt at training my body to do all the crazy moves you see every where.

So far I’ve gotten over my uncertainty with Rolls and my fear of Vaults. So far I have lazy vaults pretty much down – for a beginner. More to come next Sunday!

FIAT Thwarts Quadriplegia!

by Little John on Sep.23, 2010, under Headlines

FIAT new design

FIAT's Newest Creation

FIAT’s new car boast the latest quadriplegic protection. It works like this:

Outter shells, engine, inner shell/ gas pellet.

If the outer shell in breached then there is slightly more than cosmetic damage
If the engine is breached then the car is a wash, it is ‘totaled’. Not worth the repair. In the event of a cataclysmic car crash and breaches the inner shell the cars interior fills with toxic gas.

FAIT’s new move has  only to get the bill signed absolving them of murder and the car could be in your driveway by Spring.

Megadosing on Vitamin C

by Little John on Sep.13, 2010, under Genetics, Hypotheses

I’ve heard a lot about Vitamin C and megadosing. (5,000 mg appears to be optimum)

Below is a mathematical proof based on the infallable internet and the basis that the body has the ability to feed the optimum level of  Vitamin C (taken from the environment) from a healthy mother and feed it to a child.

“In one study, Vitamin C leveled off at 50 to 60 mg per liter of milk once maternal intake reached OR exceeded the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for this vitamin (Bates, 1983). Another study also found the levels plateaued, to between 44 and 158 mg per liter of milk, even if the mother had been given 10 times the RDA for Vitamin C (Byerley, 1985).”
The research tells us that exclusively breastfed babies take in an average of 25 oz (750 mL) per day between the ages of 1 month and 6 months. Different babies take in different amounts of milk; a typical range of milk intakes is 19-30 oz per day (570-900 mL per day).
What Newborns Weigh Just like adults, newborns come in a range of healthy sizes. Most full-term babies (born between 37 and 40 weeks) weigh somewhere between 6 pounds, 2 ounces (2,812 grams) and 9 pounds, 2 ounces (4,173 grams). Their average length ranges from 19 to 21 inches (48 to 53 centimeters).
6 – 9 lbs = average weight
6 lbs / 120 lbs = 20X
6 lbs / 180 lbs = 30X
9 lbs / 120 lbs = 13X
9 lbs / 180 lbs = 20X
40 mg / liter (minimum)
158 mg / liter (maximum)
.57 liters / day (minimum)
.90 liters / day (maximum)
Daily Vitamin C consumption for a stationary infant: 22.8 mg – 142.2
Daily Vitamin C consumption for a stationary adult*:  296.4 mg – 4266 mg

(* assumed)

With no severe side effects if you weigh between 120 and 180 pounds you should be able to consume 5,000 milligrams and achieve the optimal balance. The body will oxidize any quantity that is too much. This assumes that your body is normal and healthy. Otherwise seek a nutritional profession.

I’ve heard of cancer being treated with Vitamin C and cancer patients being very deficient. This is a different subject and needs a separate study.

Muscle Building & Creatine/Myostatin 2

by Little John on Sep.07, 2010, under Genetics, Journal

Well considering my overwhelming comments on this subject I think I need to post an update.

I’ve lost 2 pounds due to fasting. I did not elect to fast but I’ve been working and have only burritos in the fridge. I’ve been drinking milk with protein powder and creatine and working out 3 days a week.

Eating habits are as follows:

2 glasses of protein mix for breakfast
1 burrito at lunch plus miscellaneous drinks (coffee, water, orange juice)
2 glasses of protein mix for dinner

Now I’m full after the protein mix but even I can feel I need pasta. I crave spaghetti but I will be 3 weeks before I can truly return to testing.

How do I feel:

As long as I keep my sodium-potassium matched in conjunction with what I sweat out then I’m fine. I still have enough waist fat not to worry about dropping to low (at 0% body fat you do permanent damage to your body). But in general I feel great. Far better then when I ate junk food every day.

There are a few corrections I need to make to my diet.

1. Reduce protein intake to 150 grams
2. More pasta. Any pasta. Far better then sugar each day.
3. I’m fine on protein so I can reduce the meat in my diet
4. A friend recommended Omega fatty acids as any change in diet can cause the body to burn it’s fat stores.  So I’ll start this week.

Until next time!
